Moza SR-P Pedals review

Moza, a sim racing equipment manufacturer, has launched its CS Steering Wheel and SR-P Pedals to fill an important gap in its portfolio of products. The Moza SR-P Pedals, priced at $218.90, provide an entry-level load cell brake pedal option for those looking to upgrade from potentiometer-based pedals. Compared to Moza’s higher-end CR-P Pedals, the SR-P’s are made primarily of steel instead of aluminium alloy and have a maximum pressure sensor range of 75kg, 25kg less than the CR-P’s.

While the SR-P’s load cell system is limited, it comes with an additional angle sensor that provides a high-resolution equivalent to a hall sensor during light braking. During harder braking, the load cell takes over, but the damper and load cell combination could start a little bit earlier in the process to give users more rigidity and confidence. However, the Moza SR-P Pedals have a high-quality feel and smooth understated finish, and they are compatible with other wheels and peripherals across the market without the need for adapters.

In conclusion, the Moza SR-P Pedals are a decent entry-level load cell brake pedal option, especially considering their price point, which is more affordable than most load cell-based and hydraulic options. While they may not give users ultimate confidence, especially in more precise racing games, they are still a great range extender for those looking to upgrade their sim racing setup. The additional springs and dampers provided with the SR-P Pedals also allow for adjustments to optimize the pedal feel, giving users six possible combinations.
